Which is easier?To start from micro level or macro level?
To improve the conditions of Indian citizens
which is the best one?
I think and prefer to go from the root level,the micro-level.
We an take a village,that too a very small village.
Find out how many houses are there.
How many of them are adult males/ adult females/ boys/girls/ the transgender if any.
How many of them are married?
What is their occupation?
What do they do for daily living?
What are their possessions which you can estimate or guess or luckily get all the info.
How many of them own land?
How many of them work as landless laborers?
Is there a school for them?
What kind of school is that?
What is the strength of that school?
What is the literacy level of that village?
Is there a temple,mosque or church in that village?
Do the landowners work in their fields with their families?
What do they grow there? most?
Is there a hospital there?
Are the roads muddy or tarred?
How many cars and other vehicles are there?
Is there a river or canal near the village?
How do they get water for drinking and irrigation?
Is the village well-planned?
How many streets /lanes are there?
Are these streets /lanes have proper electric lighting?
Are the houses of concrete or huts?
Which animals are bred by them?
How many of them go out from this village for work?
Is there a bus /transport facility ?
How do the children go to school?Have they to cross any canal/river by walking in that?
Is there a proper bridge on them to cross easily?
Is there a bank branch there to handle their finance?
How many moneylenders and pawnbrokers are there?
How is the sanitation there?
Is there any proper sewage facility?
Do many of them have civic sense?
Which party do they support?
Is there any NGO taking care of this village?
Any Rotarian club has sponsored for this village?
Is there any leader visiting this village and ask and solve their problems?
Are there any social workers there?
Do the village people solve their problems by themselves or expect the Govt. to solve even minor problems?
Which arm of Govt. takes care of the village?
Is there any police station?
How is the law and order maintained?
Do they have cattle, poultry and others?
Do they know how to use Gobar gas?
Is there any tiny or small industry there?
How much milk is produced there?
Do they sell the extra milk to the nearest city?
Do they have /grow enough fodder for the cattle?
What are main crops grown there?
Are there any cash crops?
What kind of help or assistance given the state or central Govt.?
Are there many disputes among them?
Do they go to the lawyers and court and waste their money and productive time?
